Welcome to the CTRI Pre-Requirement
General Awareness and Familiarization
This course is the General Awareness and Familiarization portion of Cargo Tank Registered Inspector (CTRI) training. It carries the hazmat employee training required for anyone who inspects, tests, marks, or certifies a specification cargo tank that transports hazardous materials.
Work through it before the hands-on CTRI course. The goal is not to memorize the book. The goal is to know how the regulations are built, what the important words mean, and where to put your finger when a facility hands you a tank and a stack of records.
